Guest wrote: Mon Mar 24, 2025 11:22 am What is the story with TM and the 50 players committed to them?

TRW ?
Its the same with all the lower end teams. TYN, TRW, TT, REBS, NYR. All the coaches will hold as many as they can and drop the dead weight or problem parents. The only one on here that dont make much sense to retain more commits than needed is the REBS.....
First year in a long time they make playoffs and then next thing you know De commits and lots of negative rumors.
The negative rumours are not rumours. Do your homework.
* 3 parent coaches ✔️
* Coaches that over play their own kids ✔️
* Problems in the dressing room with coaches kid ✔️
* slimy, gaslighting HC who tells you what you want to hear
* AA players coming in for next season ✔️

And lots more, ask round
Are parents paying for AAA spots? I know 2 G coaches who asked for $ for a spot. Hockey is being ruined by the parents who stuff $ in coaches pockets so they can brag their kid is playing AAA
Of course. Are you new to the sport or something? You better have at least $75k for that spot, more if your son is just average.
True scenario, couldnt give 2 shits if you believe or not, I know as it was offered to me, I was offered a free ride by 2 different teams and know 1st hand 2 other players have been offered the same. None of the 3 accepted. All 3 of us sat with the coach at the same time, no one accepted the money and no one committed to the team. My reason is because at some point every other parent and player would know and that culture will destroy the team, by far the worst I have seen in Minor Hockey. And yes there are still some unselfish people in the league. I bet there are others here that have been offered the same, How many of you have accepted?

Yes, players get sponsored, especially if they are good. Every org including OMHA and Alliance does it whether you want to believe it or not.

Desperate coaches looking to pay to bring players in to fuel their winning egos. Not a player in this loop is worth a penny off what it costs to play. This is the truth and my kids a stud.

Like Mav offering to pay TM for a spot for his midget son? That kid has fallen off the map the last 3 years and is now looking at Jr B as a best case scenario for little Max.

I think its funny that you are the same bozos that hand shake and fist bump as you stand at the corner of the rink like you own the place and then your here making fun of the guy. I agree hes never been anything other than a loud mouth dad who bought his guy every spot, and its never panned out for obvious reasons. Now that hockey matters and kids can actually play, his kid is obsolete. Make sure you pay the agent to get his name out there, maker sure he mentions weston dodgers hilights, duffield devils superteam and so on

You’re all absolutely gutless cowardly people. Shame on all of you for tarring and feathering the gentlemen that’s been nothing but a positive influence for the 2010 journey. He’s supported numerous opportunities for many kids in the loop and outside for spring and summer opportunities; all in the name of the game and promoting friendly growth and competition. And here you POS gutless adults slandering him and his gifted son as most of our kids are as they all play in the loop. Hey you’ve proven it’s the parents that ruin this journey with your rants over a man and his son. You’re all absolutely toxic and delusional!
