Read previous posts for context
I made some of the previous posts-don't see a point
it was directed at postings that continually said they are not part of HC, that website says they are....
It says that the Prep schools are HC accredited. What does that mean to you?

-do their coaches have to take all HC courses?
-do they have to abide by ALL HC related policies?
-if they are "truly" part of HC, why are they excluded from the Telus Cup?

The easiest example is that they don't fall under the residency rules that we have in HEO. All you seem to say is, they are permitted to play in "some" hockey, but not all hockey. They don't have to follow ALL HC rules, just some, and they don't have to follow residency rules, just a small limit...and so on.

What's the point?
You said they are not sanctioned.

I think his point is that your point was wrong. They are sanctioned. It really was a simple point and not sure why you don’t understand.

Actually I posted that nobody could define what "sanctioned" meant other than they could ay on the HEO league.

You're wrong.

The prep schools play by different rules regarding residency of players-is that sanctioned?

The prep schools aren't allowed to compete for the Telus Cup-is that sanctioned?

The prep schools can compete in prep schools events HEO teams can't-is that sanctioned.

The prep schools have different rules over budgets and overseeing bodies-is that sanctioned?

Comprehension is a valuable tool.
Why don’t you post how watered down HEO U18 is? After three games at the Telus cup. Our league champions lost 9-1. 8-1 and 8-2.

"Watered down" and "structured differently" are 2 different things. You've got 07s playing against 05s, which is actually good for them long term

If you are going to publish something, could you make it close to the truth. Not many 05's in the HEO U18 league. Less than one per team.

Comprehension is still a struggle for you. The OTHER teams have many 05's. Read that again.

Puts in perspective how highly skilled 07's can't compete against older, stronger and bigger players.

*At The Telus Cup, which the previous poster was referencing, you have 07s playing against teams with few (or no) 07s. This has nothing to do with how many 05s are in HEO U18, but it is good for them to play against tough competition, which they would face if they take the next step anyway*

My comprehension would be much better if you had better command of the english language. Kemptville is not at the Telus Cup. They are at the Ontario U18 regionals on the road to the Telus Cup. Winner of this events gets to go to Telus Cup. Our U18 league is what this website is about. Our teams and how they are set up is on the CCHL. Where are the 05's playing? Why not U18? Who's fault is that? People's argument about the 07's not being good enough to compete holds no water. The 07's were the driving force on both the teams in the finals, both teams a lot of 07's.

U18 hockey is not about the late bloomer.
OHF U18 Championship (road to the Telus Cup)

Elgin has 1 2005 birth year
Kemptville has 0
North Bay has 4
Oshawa has the most at 6
Canadians have 3
Windsor has 0

Yes the 07 were the driving force but look face it the majority of those 07 cannot play at the next level due to size and skill which is being showed this week. When it comes to playoff hockey or when we stop calling CS like what we see happening in Ottawa penalties and play the game they were outmatched. Really Renfrew MIGHT of done better due to their size. Sorry the facts are their look at the scores
