Everyone knows that there is a precise formula for how many "actual" AAA players exist per 1000 registered players, this should be the exact guide of how many tier 1 teams should exist, if in doubt you round down to avoid tainting the elites.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Jun 04, 2023 4:50 pm More than 2 teams means you have teams full of AA caliber talent. Sorry dad, this is reality. Does it hurt?
Also, there is a 100% clear-cut defined line between "AAA" quality and "AA" 100% of the time.
Since hockey has no politics or money involved, going with one team would probably be best because due to the above formula, the odds are that the HEO region only really has 20-23 bonafide "AAA" players in any age group, so having two teams could be "Watering down" things for the elites, and there would be a risk of lower quality players sneaking through.
Besides that, you're onto something
I go based on comparators such as the GTHL. I also use the number of players that move on to Jr. A or higher.
But you are probably a blind legacy AAA supporter. You can't even articulate a rebuttal.
