Coaches eventually come to the OMHA and poach the best. If there was enough talent in the G it wouldn't be necessary.Guest wrote: ↑Wed May 31, 2023 9:34 pmGuest wrote: ↑Wed May 31, 2023 8:21 amOmha kids will have a hard time transitioningGuest wrote: ↑Wed May 31, 2023 6:56 am
I’m sure they’re terrified of kids coming in who they’ve been annihilating every year in BOB and other summer tournaments.
Why don’t you name one or two difference makers who are coming and change our minds then? Who’s coming to shake up the G?
STILL WAITING TO HEAR WHICH OMHA KIDS WILL BE CONTRIBUTORS IN THE G NEXT YEAR!
Sad when your answer is Stamkos and Perry
Who’s coming to the league we should watch out for? You’re the one hyping these kids up, why you afraid to mention them now?
[/quote
Because I want you to sit home all summer wondering which of these kids is going to take your little ankle burner's place.
Go hop in your Benz and drive it into a wall. That's how your kid will feel every time he goes into the corner with one of those farm boys.
Your all idiots

McDavid isn’t a point because he played in the G you idiot.
If there was enough talent and good coaching in the OMHA then kids wouldn’t leave that gawd awful league.
The farm boys are about to get an education on how hockey is really played, like so many OMHA plugs have before them

LoL those last few years in the G is what REALLY made him the star he is. You goofballs need to shake your fat heads.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Jun 03, 2023 6:43 am https://youtu.be/ZywAm-mADdk
Here’s McDavid, Ho-Sang and Sam Bennett on the same team IN DA G
Re: 2010 GTHL AAA
Sure. It was the G that made him a star not his immense talent. You G dads are more delusional than your kids who think they’re going to the nhl. Just laughable.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Jun 04, 2023 5:27 pmLoL those last few years in the G is what REALLY made him the star he is. Re: 2010 GTHL AAA
Sam Bennett was also poached from YSE to play on TM. And Ho-Sang, well, he's a G boy I think, and what a difference maker. Seems like coaches bring in the OMHA boys to make the high paying Toronto kids looks good. So you can see the OMHA is the stronger league, it just can't compete with all the backdoor dealings and free rides that G daddies are happy to pay for.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jun 05, 2023 9:10 amSure. I will help settle this with a true honest opinion based on years and years of following it all
no league is better then the other at developing superstars or creating superstars, that all happens internally on your own merit
the gthl is the more competitive and deep league, look no further then the results of GTHL teams yea rover year, even the lower end GTHL teams show well at tournaments
given the competitive, political nature of the GTHL, better chance of "pretenders" to emerge in the GTHL, the layer that is good, but does better then his level merits because he's surrounded by other good players
-meanwhile, a superstar that is tearing up the OMHA on a less deep team, and is standing out when battling on his own against top G teams with a weaker supporting cast, and who is getting poached to GTHL is more likely to have the raw goods then the #2 F on a stacked Duffield team in tyke lol
so all in all anything can happen, G better league, I would bet on the stud emerging from a quiet center in OMH then a stud emerging from marlies or JRC in the long run (unless the marlies stud was poached from OMHA)

The kid playing in the OMHA won’t have the coaching or talent around him to fully develop. The G is a more competitive league but is also what develops these kids into studs, otherwise they wouldn’t leave their farms in the first place. Just because a kid was born outside the boundaries or played tyke there means nothing. The G is what made them studs and that’s why they all give full credit to THE league.
