Tep and Fontaine will destroy Minnesota . Not a chance for Minny
While everyone’s watching Tep, Tep will be watching his dad.

Tep dad is certifiably insane. Screaming his head off at his kid constantly. Kid has talent but will hate hockey before his teens. Book it.
Contact will change the game for all these kids. You’ll be surprised who rises up. The end to end garbage stops very soon.

Enjoy the game. The brick is a fantastic tournament. Some kids did well some kids did not. For whatever reason. That’s ok you learn and move on. But they still are top kids in Ontario and will all have bright futures. It’s a phase of there hockey careers. Relax and enjoy the ride.

That’s the bad news for some players like the agents kid and the other mini’s on PH. They shat the bed this week and when contact starts it’ll only get worse. Enjoy the ride everyone.

Guy Is insane. Always plops his arrogant French ass into opposing teams side. Screaming and cheering with that annoying French accent. Always wonder why he never sits with the team….

So I'm curious. I was just perusing through all the Brick tournament stats for the last 10 years or so. It seems LT set a new points per game record at the tournament. Is he that good!? Or has the rising cost of the tournament and hockey in general made it so some potentially really good athletes aren't getting into the sport or this tournament, so the depth of talent isn't there anymore?

LT is the real deal. Look out for him in the 1st round of the 2029/2030 NHL draft.

He’s a very skilled player. But, like every other point getter at this tournament, he gets an TON more ice time than everyone else on the team. I would say all top point leaders at this tournament see the ice at least twice as much as the average teammate. Yes, it’s because they’re good to start with. But all the extra ice leads to a lot more points (especially against weaker lines and on power plays).

It’s easy to look back at Brick highlights and see guys like Stamkos, Bedard, RNH, Matthews, etc and connect the dots to where they ended up. It’s too hard to say these boys will end up in the same spot. Too many factors involved.

But as for cost, it’s public knowledge that Tep, Coombe, Miller and others spend much more time and money on things like hockey academies, private skates, homeschooling, etc than most which, at this age, will yield short term dividends on the ice. Long term, don’t expect a this to continue. Things will get harder, other kids will get bigger and more skilled, and the game won’t come as easy for these kids. This will lead to frustration on the ice, resentment and, ultimately, lack of fun. With these factors and the immense pressure from the parents pushing and footing the bill, it’s a ticking time bomb.

As for other talent, it’s out there. The conditions are going to change and will allow for good players to become better players - the ice will get smaller as the kids get bigger, IQ will improve with age and experience, stronger athletes will hone their hockey skills, etc).

Tep and others won’t disappear, but many others are going to catch up.

Everyone on this board should recognize what it took for these kids to make it to this level- brick tournament . Whether they won or lost, these are the top 200 kids.

Bravo to all them , it takes a lot of discipline hard work and skill to be at this level.

Kudos to all the kids on the bulldogs and PH to making it . You made us all proud :) . Keep striving for your dreams

To all the parents , you have done a wonderful job in having your kids chase that dream . If it doesn’t work out in the end just know your kid has attained new life skills in leadership, striving for your goals and most importantly friends that will never be forgotten.

Stop the negative bullshit and look at the positive people.
