Titans
Myers
Wild
Cyclones
67s

Myers have many injuries already, best Ds in the league but are forced to play them as FW for atleast the first month...They will recover and finish top 8 in province.

Titans will be a beast of a team, probably top 5 in province. That 3-3 tie with Wild last game with full rosters showed they still have weaknesses on defense.

Wild will have to work hard for everything they get, offense will have to score gritty goals, hardest hitting D and the best goalies in the province. They might crack the top 10.

Cyclones getting a bunch of imports surely helped them, they have solid goaltending and a high flying offense. Defense still a question mark. Could crack the top 10.

67s have a shot at being better than last year, bigger, faster players from the top AA team in the province last year will help. The have question marks everywhere but work hard. Top 15-25?

Thoughts.
Lol. HEO will be lucky to have one team crack the top 10. Maybe even top 15. Just not deep enough.
I think GTHL has its own thread? Disagree with you and we can check back here end of season

1st Titans
- Has 3 legit centermen (1 is the leagues best) complimented by a very skilled forward group top to bottom.
- Goalies. Best Goalie in HEO 2009 group moved into the area in the off season.
- D. Top 3 are very skilled 2-way players. Bottom 3 are reliable. 2 of the 6 are extremely physical.
- Team Unity. From the Locker room to the parents. Very tight group. (evidence: parking lot parties and Hotel lobbies)

2nd Myers
- Will challenge the Titans for first place despite best player leaving for the G. Every line is talented. The depth of this team is its superpower.
- Very tactical D. Good skaters who execute simple but accurate breakouts. Not physical but doesn't need to be.
- Goalies pretty solid pair that can steal a game or 2 without question.
-Coaching. Reportedly no nonsense and cannot be manipulated by a notorious parent group.

3rd EO Wild
- Arguably their best player left for the GTHL. Consensus is that it won't matter as it improves team unity.
- The "Other" best Goalie in the 2009 HEO age group is on this team. Excellent if he can finish a game. Goalie 2 is reliable.
- Downside - Parents should turn against one another sometime around Christmas. Team Performance will fall off shortly thereafter.
- Toughness. A personal opinion - but this team looks gritty. Can grind out wins playing traditional bang bang hockey.

Bottom Feeders.
-UCC vs. 67's. It will be a race to 4th place.
-67's have a new look and a lot of combine players motivated to prove to the team they were cut from that it was a mistake. Fair assessment, they might catch the other 4 teams by surprise and pull in a few W's. Goalies are a question mark.
-Cyclones have some absolute brut players that seemingly play with intent to injure. If not constantly suspended, will command respect and caution from opposing players. Good goalies. Probably the smoothest D-man in the game but very undersized. Forwards can score but can get greedy.

Titans/Myers will crack top 10 in province.
Very good description and personal view of each team must I say you’re probably a Titans parent ha ha. All good.

NT9 went to Wild
67s got basically a new team.

I agree with most except I think you have the parent groups of the Wild and Titans mixed up. It's no secret that Titans parents and even some of the kids on the team don't get along at all, there's some very bad blood there, could explode mid season.

I agree with most also. Titans top team but saying top goalie moved to area is underrated, he didn't do much last year. He will look good this year because of players in front of him. Myers also a top team in HEO this year. The lost BB will have other players step up but his scoring will be missed. EO Wild won't be too far with new additions and size from imports and new players. They lost TW but AC will pick up the slack this year. They looked good and big at combine vs Titans. We had a full roster and Wild held us. Cyclones will just lose games because of indiscipline (B.R) kid is a loose cannon so is his father that promotes to injure players. 67's yes lots of changes but loosing their #1 goalie will hurt them and they don't have enough fire power to compete. Their D core is too slow.

Not a fan of saying "father promotes kid to hurt people" . At least his kid shows some passion in the hitting game . Big kid who uses what he has . I don't mind that. Refs call everything now anyways. Open hits will be thing of the past in near future. Shame.

I wouldn't mind the hitting and actually like his style but the kid is out there to hurt, he's not out there to finish a check or lay a big hit to change momentum. He's literally out there to hurt. He got suspended in tryouts, TRYOUTS!!!

He got ejected in the 2nd to last tryout game for pummeling a kid that was down and ejected again in the last game for slashing a kid in the head...

He's been suspended 5x a year for the last 3-4 years. He's had multiple hearings to question his actual commitment to hockey and improving his terrible behavior.

Hopefully they crack down on him as he has targeted many players already and will only continue to do so.

The Wild was dealt a bad hand last year, lost their first year coach who had them playing gritty hockey with structure and accountability... they lost him early in the season and it was a shit show after that, the 08 Wild coach came down to help them out but he was the complete opposite, no structure, no accountability, no discipline.

Wild finished 4th in their own league and 14th in Provincial rankings after finishing 3rd and almost cracking the top 10 in Provincial rankings in year 1.

AC91 will have his moments offensively but he has big disciplinary issues and defensive breakdowns.

Same with DM97, you'll never see the kid in the defensive zone...

If the Wild are to get back to challenging Titans and Myers and cracking the top 10 province, they will need their 200ft players like AM51, NM13, CG9, KF11 and CS77 to lead and show the way.

Hopefully the new coach (3rd in 3 years) instills structure and discipline and accountability they had in their 1st year. Otherwise it's just gonna be another year of individual stats and bad team results.

The stuff I hear from my boy playing against AC91 is unbelievable! This young man is so disrespectful and vulgar with other players on the ice.
