The Oakville way, stick your head in the sand. Here’s a thought, ask a kid/parent on the team. It’s widely going around the team and the age group. But do keep your eyes closed, it’s easier that way.
Oakville Rangers

Re: Oakville Rangers
Well if it was a big deal, it would be in the press. Not justifying it, but stolen cars never make the news as there are far worse things going on. Sorry everyone is not up in arms like this was an ISIS attack....perhaps you just hold a grudge? I mean with all the bad press about hockey Canada right now, the presS will use why story like this to pile on. Seems like even they don't care.... Why do uGuest wrote: ↑Wed Sep 20, 2023 3:40 pmThe Oakville way, stick your head in the sand. Here’s a thought, ask a kid/parent on the team. It’s widely going around the team and the age group. Re: Oakville Rangers
it's probably the anti-JV AGM guy upthread who didn't get anywhere with that complaint so he's moved on to stirring the pot another way.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Sep 20, 2023 4:10 pmWell if it was a big deal, it would be in the press. Lol the rangers and all Omha teams do stupid stuff that bothers me, but this guy is just hilarious trying to make a mountain of a mole hill.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Sep 20, 2023 4:36 pmit's probably the anti-JV AGM guy upthread who didn't get anywhere with that complaint so he's moved on to stirring the pot another way.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Sep 20, 2023 4:10 pmWell if it was a big deal, it would be in the press. Though he had a big smoking gun and the crowd went mild.
Can't wait for him not to provide any more details and just give a snarky, short response to this also.

So you were in AA and couldn't make AAA so you left oakville and were able to make a weak GTHL AAA team.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Aug 26, 2023 10:27 pm Oakville rangers is better than some other clubs in OMHA. They respond to emails and the tryouts are well organized. However, merit isn’t the key criteria and coaching is average as compared to GTHL. We took our son out of Oakville due to crazy politics and power drunk coaches of AAA teams that won’t even talk to you nicely. Whereas in G, we were welcomed since the kid had talent. Here in Oakville, most people are rich and live south of QEW are the ones running the show. The rules are different for connected folks. For eg. Their goalie VP kid is playing up when he wouldn’t even make the same age level team in the G. That’s the part most people hate..the politics of the select few.

everything doesn't have to be a scheme or sinister plot. I just called out the double standard in the organization. They wont accept good kids to play up but would gladly do that if the kid's dad is a VP or someone well connected. Its true and you can lookup Oakville U9 MD-1 goalieGuest wrote: ↑Wed Sep 20, 2023 6:36 pmSo you were in AA and couldn't make AAA so you left oakville and were able to make a weak GTHL AAA team.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Aug 26, 2023 10:27 pm Oakville rangers is better than some other clubs in OMHA.
