Guest wrote: Tue Sep 26, 2023 3:59 pmHEO U18AAA is awful
Is that because the 16-year-olds are not there to bring up the quality of hockey?
I have to assume you mean the 15 year olds right!?!? I hope so. It's also because HEO has so poorly managed minor hockey and sacrificed the U18AAA division for U16AAA, that the quality 16 and 17 years olds want nothing to do with them. The good ones have made other choices.
Agreed
But the issue is while there are other options and kids are taking them, it doesn't mean those are great options either for them.If a kid can get and afford a good school program until they graduated, that is probably the wisest choice.

LOL, you're not serious are you!?!?! Sure, PREP schools would be an amazing option-but for whom exactly!!?!?!? come on

HEO U18AAA is the worst option that's for sure
People do get quite a bit of financial aid to play prep. Not everyone playing it is wealthy. How much does u18aaa cost?

And just added young goalie (only 2 on roster). At what point does someone step in to save that franchise. Only a matter of time before more kids bail.
Alex Armstrong Owner, GM, Coach has not been listed on the last couple of games sheets posted by the CCHL. Does anyone know what is going on?

No idea. But, hopefully, one less owner not coaching. And hopefully, someone finally accountable for treating players like "commodities".

It's Jr. Hockey.

The NCDC pushed several local players down to Premier after leading them to believe they had NCDC spots. These kids had to get bullets! Ratty

Maybe the CCHL can get rid of that dirt bag in Brockville also.

Difference is messing with players after they signed junior a contracts. Ncdc contract is always a premier contract until u make the them. A tender doesn't mean you make it. Doesn't mean what ncdc does isn't slimy either because u have to pay attention to what documents they make you sign

What the contract says, and what the NCDC coaches said are in conflict. Scum bags
