Those rogue leagues - they are in it for the MONEY. Think about what you're saying because the alternatives are worse than the existing.
BCHL has been the #1 tier 2 league for moving players to NCAA D1 program for the past decade...clearly they are doing something right.
BCHL stepping away from HC is smart, considering the current climate and the spineless weasels running HC. OJ CC NOJ GOJ are already light years behind the BCHL...expect them to fall even further behind as droves of top players will leave ONT year after year.

Yes, commercials are not entirely accurate to how the reality of hockey in Canada looks. There is an over-correction in advertising in general. I don’t think I‘ve seen a white straight couple in a commercial all year. Haha
But this is because there was a decades long UNDER representation of people of colour, women/girls in sport and Not Allowed people in advertising, movies and television. Now they are overdoing a bit. Seeing one particular ethnicity in a commercial isn't a "privilege", lol. It's a business decision made by the people marketing their product.
Nowadays, campaigns have morfed into virtue signaling driven by fear of the woke mob. These companies / organizations are kneeling to people who want to be included, but aren't actually interested in what these companies / orgs have to offer.
Trying to grow the sport by selling lies to communities who aren't actually interested in hockey is a colossal wast of time and money.

Hockey IS inclusive, but reality is that not everybody is interested…and that’s okay, because they don’t have to be.

Hahaha....oh yah, you are one of those who still firmly believe that HC is in this for the kids!! It is about control and.....wait for it....wait for it.....FOR THE MONEY!!!!!
HC hasn't been about the grassroots for at least 20 years and they only cared about women's hockey for the WC's and the Olympics...until they were told to think otherwise!
