CL came to play Sunday afternoon. As a parent it was great hockey to watch. NYR played two hard fought games Sunday but that’s what we all hope for. Close games. Good hockey. We are slowly working our way out of Timbit hockey. Gaps are closing. I’m liking this version of hockey much better.

JH got stapled to the bench.. not finishing first in points, dad was seething

After round robin play, JH, CL, CM and others were nowhere near the top 5 in points. Game is changing. CL came to life in the playoff.

All this time focused on points at U12 and still don’t understand development. A lot more to hockey than scoring goals.
How many goals against are they on the ice for?
How are the defensively?
How will they do when they get rocked? Battle or Quit?
Unfortunately for player like MD, they’ve spent 90% of their life floating around waiting for others to do the hard work.
That’s a coaching and parent issue.
