Truth is MB sucked all tournament and had the easiest qualifier to get in

MB is mid-pack and gets wins against TE, WML, MNS, MT, FT, which are really single A teams. MB barely beat the Eagles last week and Eagles went 0-3-1 in their Silver Stick Q. Lost 2-1 West Hill, 9-0 TRT, tied Upper York 4-4, Lost to Aurora Tigers 5-4.

East division parent here -- if your team lost to West Hill, they're right in that mid pack of AA teams. Any team can win on any day. No shame in that...makes for close games and good hockey. But yeah there are 2-3 very strong teams in each East and West, followed by what appears to be 6ish mid pack teams, then 1-2 truly bottom teams. If your kid is a big minute, big role player on one of those mid pack teams, this year has been fantastic for their development.

Well said. All the kids have been improving a ton. The weakest team were often the ones put together at the last minute or just a later start at hockey. The weaker teams are the ones that improve the most and its awesome to see. This from a parent on a better team and so just want to be positive and lessen the smack talk. Happy for all the kids.

Can someone that has watched the west teams can you rank which Mississauga teams look the best this year? Also if you might know a few things about the program?

Are EE and TR superior than most of the west, yes. But to say they will destroy them is a bit of a stretch. Goalie excuses are BS btw.

Using one game as a base line to judge a team is a big mistake. Apparently MB had no goalie that game. A player had to put gear on.

MB made a goalie change after 2 because they were down 5-1 TRT made a change to give a goalie who was away for holidays some reps. Both teams played hard. But it wasn’t as close as the score was.

EE could have beat them more than 4-0. They took their foot off the gas as they only needed a win to advance.
