Enough with this nonsense that one league is better than another. If the big 3 nyhl teams played 1 showcase in the KSL they would place in the top 5. Outside of the 2 kings teams there is no other team that would compete with the 3 top nyhl teams. Both leagues develop. The KSL is like the Walmart of hockey for cities outside the gta where there isn’t great development options so it’s a one stop shop. This argument of klevr vs Nyhl is so dumb. Kids that are on the ice develop period. End of story.

Not to sure about other teams being unable to compete with NYHL top teams. The Cobras, Ducks, N Saints and Raiders would be at the same level as the NYHL teams. The two YKs would be top 2.

The raiders lost to both duffield and Vaughan red. The top ducks kids play for Duffield. Outside of the Kings teams there would be no competition. This is consistent at any age group. The top 5 teams In Ontario' are usually a league of their own. The grass is greener where you water it. Just because you are part of a league it doesn’t mean a magic wond is waved and the players are great.

Again the KSL is great for parents outside of the city.

Not in full agreement here. NYHL may be good but just can’t see these teams. Ring able to dominate against non Yk teams in Tier 1.

Do you really know top NYHL teams? And do you also really know YKs? Also which YK you are referring to? The Yk team flying kids from all over (including top BC kids, US kids) or Yk with only local kids?

Both leagues are good but it seems more players are moving over to Klevr next year.

I am also hearing a lot of OMHA teams and MHL teams moving to Klevr next year. That will really dilute the hockey Canada run MD programs. Does anyone know if the Duffield teams are also playing Klevr?

There have been new teams announced for next year. Mostly in OMHA zones but there has been a lot of talk regarding NYHL kids possibly moving to KSL. This will be interesting. I wonder if anyone from KSL is planning to back to home centers.

The top Ducks players played for Duffield? I thought NYHL has boundary rules.
