The Anaheim Ducks first hosted the Throwback Classic Adult Hockey Tournament in the spring of 2010. What started as a 4 team tournament has since grown to include nearly 75 teams.

This Orange County tournament is one of the largest 5-on-5 ice hockey tournaments in North America, with player representation from 25 states and 3 countries!

Games take place at the official practice facility of the Anaheim Ducks, Great Park Ice & FivePoint Arena in Irvine, as well as The Rinks - Anaheim ICE.

The 2023 Throwback Classic will take place President's Day Weekend, February 17th-20th, 2023.

The Throwback Classic gives back to youth hockey. All proceeds from the Throwback Classic benefit the Anaheim Ducks Foundation’s youth hockey programs. These programs include Anaheim Ducks S.C.O.R.E., Learn to Play, and Top Flight.

By competing in the 2023 Throwback Classic, you will be giving students, first-time hockey players, and participants with special needs the opportunity to learn and play the game.
