U13...but any age really
How about U14 team...lots of departures
Everyone thinks every board is a mess. All coaches are terrible, and all coaches kids are only on the team because their parent coaches. So many complaints, so few volunteers.
No board is perfect but at least LJK has a lot of non parents on the board. A lot of work and effort that goes into running an organization, a thankless job.
Hopefully they end up axing the second tier AA team and just offer an A team. Options are good for kids, and playing at the level you belong is imperative to development.
The biggest thing all organizations should do is bring in 3rd party evaluators for all teams. Without this the boards reputation will always be soiled. disgruntled parents who think there kid is there but isn’t, or coaches picking kids because of friendships etc is a bad look. There needs to be accountability in this regard, once that happens, I think the toxicity would decrease dramatically.
Actually there are plenty of qualified volunteers...trouble is the "thankless board" you speak of was filled with NO VOTE required! LMAO! Glad they felt the need to award themselves again without an AGM formal vote or proxy! Well Done!

Bet they’d find room for you if you wanted to joint.
Really?? And exactly how does the process work where you join a “formed” board?? Was there a posted list of vacancies? That would meet proper governance if it did with terms of board members. Just another example of how dysfunctional the LJK board is. Truly a pile of very under qualified people.
