Maybe if you were playing elite you would know !!! Why you so concerned about everyone else ? Focus on your own damn kid and maybe he will get out of the AA loop.
Playing "Elite" and losing in the quarter finals is not saying much..fyi.
An elite quarter final team would beat AAA champion team 10-0. Not comparable at all.
Not true at all. The team you lost to in the qtrs lost 15-1 in semis. I would slow down calling them elite

OMG... all this talk about "Elite" the definition off "Elite" is 2%... that means only 2% of the kids that were in this tournament are maybe "Elite" at the age of 12  .... 13 teams which means roughly 195 players... the math says less than 4 kids at this tournament might be "Elite"... and they are probably not coming from a team that lost in the quarters, and I understand that nobody is claiming their kid is "Elite" but some are definitely telling their kids that they are... oh well... this is the last year for toe drags, dangles and coast to coast goals.... big boy hockey will be a rude awakening at U14.
Asshat! You’ve got your dominator wrong. There’s roughly 5000 AAA players in North America. If you’ve ever been to a top spring tournament, you would know that the group of 200 players remains fairly static. In other words the 200 that play in all the top tournaments ARE the elite group. Of course some kids will step up and others will fall off but this is the general group that will make up the 1st level of NCAA and Major Junior Picks.

The speed of play & playmaking in the top spring tournaments is double what a typical GTHL or OMHA AAA game is. But you go ahead and enjoy some garbage Canlan tournament this weekend while the studs all play in Detroit.

So, yeah, the 5 Steel players that have been consistently playing in top tournaments this year and years prior are pretty god damn exceptional.
This is accurate - just look at the teams that entered the Bauer Shootout and got demolished. D2D - Toronto Young Nats and Next Pro - Mississauga Rebels. Good teams in the G got manhandled by the other "elite" teams, including AM ProHockey. Was a strong field of kids.

Let us try to be respectful of one another’s opinions. It sounds like this person has big dreams about his children’s future, who are we to judge what is right and wrong? It is called the “high road” for a reason.

A "Top" Spring tournament   you are a loser
I am not sure why an adult would attack a 10-year-old child. It can only come from a place of hate. Is your life so pathetic that you need to stoop this low? All these kids have been teammates at one point or another and will be again in the future. These are children that are trying to be good teammates and they have nothing but love for each other! Why try to ruin this for them? You have spent time with their families, travelling to tournaments, dinners, drinks etc. How can you live with your phony self? What is the matter with you that you need to write such hateful things? At some point your child is going to be old enough to log on to your computer and they will see your browser history. How will you explain to your child that you are a pathetic, worthless loser? What will you do when you realize that you have lost your child’s respect when they cannot look you in the eyes anymore. I really feel pity for you that you have such low self-worth and lack any self-respect that you need to tear others down to try to make yourself feel better. The Steel are going to be a fantastic team next year, celebrate it! Be proud of this amazing group of 2013’s that Hamilton has produced.
Also, let us wish all the kids that have moved on from Hamilton the absolute best in their journeys! Whether your journey is House League or Triple A, learn how to be a good teammate, and the value of arduous work. Most importantly, respect one another! Before we all know it, this will be over, and we will wonder where the time has gone.
