We were shocked to find that out. However, they were running 9&6, I wonder how short the bench got in the final…
Very, and will continue to do so all season. 2014 WW did the same and look what happened to them.
So WW was the YK team and is the AD team really the Raiders from KSL?

Was that even thier real team ? I saw them play the REPS and that group had apparently never played together until that game and they did win 5-1
it was far from a one sided game which makes me wonder if that Dynak group was the actual JRC group going forward ?

Top 2 WW F, and Top D already in talks with JRC for the U-11 season. There is a rumor of TM in the mix as well because the brick spots being contingent on playing for TM for U-11.

Enjoy the trophies and medals in U-10. WW AAA program have nothing to combat their top kids leaving year after year to the G. Perhaps a change in leadership and direction for the organization at the AAA level is due?
A majority of brick players disappear by U15. Cool experience for the player and family but that’s all it is.
That's simply not true historically.

Do I think the true "best players" are playing on Brick teams? No. But, they are absolutely good players, and the vast majority will be continuing to play on top level hockey teams for the majority of their career.

Of course there are some players that fade away for many reasons.

Dumb comment.
With many KSL teams feeding into OMHA and also OMHA reducing teams I do feel that competition level in the OMHA will increase. Parents may end up keeping their kids in their zone and not look at the G. But it’s also possible the trend continues.

money talks.... If you were offered tuition paid for at a private school in Toronto, and a free ride to play for a top 4 team in the G, most would ask where I sign.

Until OMHA can compete on that level, top players will continue to leave the OMHA as the kids get older. It happens every year, since the days of MTHL, and it will continue to happen until prep hockey has more significance then club hockey in Ontario.
Maybe i'm missing the point but what does a team in the G really gain by covering fees and paying for private school other than winning while the kid stays to play. The team is losing money for doing this when they know kids are gonna sign to play. It's not like they get viewership revenue cause they are winning.

Sure some good players played in a mall in Alberta for a few days but many of them don’t have parents agreeing to pay 15k to play in a mall.

Keep drinking that brick kool-aid.
buddy, my kid isn't going to brick.

Hes likely not good enough (or at the very least we are active enough in promoting him), but even if he was, we couldn't afford it. That doesn't make my statement less true.
Buddy I agree with you so much right now. Going to the Brick is a big deal. Scouts look at it.
