if there are scammers then we have a problem. And yes there are many parents especially in younger groups that would be led to believe that if they don't hire someone they're missing the boat. would be interesting to see what shady characters come outta the woodwork. I was asked for a good chunjk of change but didn't bite yet. My kids okay but I'm not delusional either.

Who is your stud of a player at U12-U13 that will wait till U16. You will be the parent buying a draft spot.
Anyone ever asks for money to be an agent or advisor. Kick him out.
Means your kid is not that great.
Any good players will get legit agents with NO COST.
Based on this thread with over 1000 pages. These advisors have lots of idiots to scam
LOL

One person who is one of the only unshady and good people in hockey, said if any advisor or agent asks for money. Tell him right to his face, you are a f.ucking joke and stop watching my 12 year old like your retirement plan.

Bobby Orr once said " If your kid is good.... they will find you"... I wouldn't be paying anything until real hockey starts at U14(Hitting).
Don’t do it. If your kid is good enough he will be fine and you shouldn’t have to pay for anything. Buyer beware on that. I don’t mean any disrespect but I’m assuming you are on the mm, mr, sens or tt?

Name the top 20 kids at the age and most of them played this weekend.
So no clue who is the delusional group that thinks top kids did not play
My kid is the best player and was not there. we are waiting till u16 anyway thats when real hockey starts. He is a star just wait and watch.

Size Matters. Sensational

Guest wrote: Sun May 12, 2024 8:05 pm The more interesting part of the weekend was seeing what kids have been protected (ie surrounded by good teams) and kids who have not had that level of protection ending up with a variety of outcomes in a tournament like this.

Will be a lot of surprises come the winter season
Lots of parents will be eating humble pie in a few years.
Many kids who were once considered top players are no longer.
Some kids are still doing the same shit they did at 8 yrs old and many peaked 2 years ago.
