Guest wrote: Thu May 09, 2024 9:34 am I get the sense that, and I hesitate to say this, but we have to be careful in these situations. Look, the prevailing wisdom says something has to be done. There is a lot of angst involved, which is fair. I've spoken to a number of team officials about the issue, and none of them are going on record but they all say pretty much the same thing. Change will happen, most likely, in or around the next two months. It's best to err on the side of caution, so I can't say much more.
Okay, but what change are you referring too? What is the focus? Org. and Teams Fees, Parent Coaches, Parent leasing/control of clubs, movement of players etc... What???
I've spoken to some rival team executives and they had some very interesting insights into all of this. Each of them left the conversation with one line:
SHOVE IT UP YOUR BUTT
Stay classy Marchese!
The word classy and Marchese do not belong in the same sentence

Guest wrote: Thu May 09, 2024 7:06 am Not true at all. He coached the U16 Sens to a 9th place finish after an injury plagued season. Not a great year but still finished ahead of 4 other teams and if you claim he did that with AA kids then it makes him look even better! Was also on the bench for the Sens OHL Cup winning team you forgot that?
How many of the TM coaches have coached U16 hockey? Zero. U15? Nope.
U14? Nada
You get the idea!
Not a TRW parent but I have known Steve for years and if these guys really think their coaching experience is anywhere near Comegna’s it shows how delusional they really are!
"Was also on the bench for the Sens OHL Cup winning team"

Who made this rumor up? he most certainly was NOT.

 Jealous much? Who talks like that? All this childish talk reminds me of the smoking area in high school where everyone gathered into their own little groups giving each the nasty eye. It's feels like you idiots should bust out into a break dance competition. You are all flashing your team jerseys like gang colour in New York. I hope to god our teams parent are respectable and focus on our kids enjoying hockey.
