Talent or skill will only get you so far. The bad attitudes and behavior has nothing to do with coaching and everything to do with the parents. These type of kids are seen as selfish and not team players.

there's a lot of talented players in the league that don't pass, don't play defence and have bad hockey IQ. I don't think it's a function of parents, or the kids but a reflection of the poor coaching in general in the league. The kids are 10/11 years old and can learn all of these things with good coaching and structure.

I can't even name one D man on the team and the goalies were backups for Vaughan and crappy Markham. NP and AC are legit. After that who? EG who was cut from DMF? Dream on that they finish top 4. 5th or 6th is realistic and still good based on Rebels losing top 2 forwards and Reps adding nothing

These three players AC, NP and EG all have the same things in common. They never move or pass the puck and they have bad attitudes. You can see where that comes from, the parents. These parents don't understand that there is a long way to go before hockey means anything and their biggest problem is going to be word of mouth. They will have bad reputations, and that will kill any chance their kid will get at going any where.
Even if they change their attitudes none of those kids have the build IQ or compete level to really go far in hockey anyway. That’s not picking on them they are good players right now for this age group. The bad attitudes and no passing or defence are a real thing but it’s not like this will hold them back as they only have certain time left anyway.

Please NP and AC won’t go anywhere in hockey enjoy the next few years both don’t have hockey iq plus other forwards are already complaining about AC thinking he’s some tuff kid :lol:

At the beginning he was fine but The kid has problems, he’s an infection on any team especially on TYN the kid has a bad attitude thinking he’s strong drilled kids at practice from behind.. TRW kids watch out

AS was not a backup in Markham and was offered spots by 2 top teams. Don't say crappy Markham when the kid faced 30+ shots a game and still led them to a 3.48 GAA and he had a .913 Save Pct. Put a goalie like CN on that team and he'd let in 10 goals a game. You will see that from MC this year. Good teams hide bad goalies and AS had great numbers considering the team in front of him!
