He's an awful coach that's why
I mean…his team did a lot more than anyone expected this year so I guess he can’t be that bad
Maybe they did nothing all year and then played up to their potential for three weeks.

Why?
One of his assistants is a far better coach than he will ever be, and the players will gravitate to him. Hard to improve when you already know everything.

I honestly don't know who sticks around in Jr. A hockey this long, without getting a sniff of something more.
The ones playing there age out year without a commitment are "hoping" for a D3. Most age outs, age out with nothing. If an age out has money, they can afford a D3 bill. IF a kid really wants to play college hockey, they should look into ACHA. But, that means being realistic about goals. THe top ACHA are better than half of D3 anyways, depending on the program. To try to land a d1 in your age out year, is a longshot.
