Top scorer on a team that doesn't score much means nothing. We all know that player and he plays alone. TRT grabbed the better players from SIR
NYK coaches may have helped build the roster, now they have to coach them.
TRT and SYB have the best coaches which their rosters make them look better.
MI and LF coaches are too emotional and gets their kids doing stupid things on the ice.
FH SIR and NT has no one and their coaches won't be able to get them into top 5.
EE needs to reset. new coach, team, recruit. it is clear they are pretty good in other age groups.

TRT, MI, SYB are top 3 in any order
LF and NYK playing for 4th
the rest should sign up for lots of extra skills and skating because you are just easy wins on the schedule.

Not too hard to figure out. The teams that pulled away from the pack last year will be the difference makers.
The bottom 4. Not much happening there. They will rotate in standings.

If you think coaching is the reason top 3 east are weaker than top 3 west you know nothing. Mostly comes down to talent and work ethic and attitude.

No where. All hype. his spring teams are stacked with already developed AAA players to promote pink brand.

parents moving from young NYK coaches to another young FH coach drinking the koolaid.

No one develops in the G. its a league that is focused on winning and politics. top kids are developed externally and not by their team coaches.

Went to the west bc you couldn’t make an East team
This is true, know of at least one kid cut from my son’s team who is now in the west. Possibly two.
Kids move from East to West and vice versa for various reasons, it rarely has to do with the players ability. It's more about fit. The West is stronger if you look at the provincial rankings with 3 teams in the top 10 and 0 for the East. I don't believe an East team has won the AA GTHL championship in the 2012 AA loop. 2 different teams have in the West. Simple math here, numbers don't lie. Bottom end is stronger comparatively as well.

SYB - Basically the same team, minor tweaks. Should be marginally better.
TRT - Key components added. Stronger team overall.
MI - Added depth, will compete with top teams.
LF - Lateral moves. Mid Pack team.
NYK - Rebuild. Added talent, pressure will be on. Players will need to buy in to program otherwise will get a repeat of last year.
SIR - Had to do some last minute scrambling, lost some solid players. Lack of compete with the the bottom teams should keep them mid pack.
NT - Wild card, lost top tier player(s) and heart of team. Coaches didn't react quick enough.
FH - Could easily swap with mid pack teams. Some forwards added but may look similar to last year overall. Lots of question marks.
EE - Might get ugly.
FH coach is the best in the loop. Knows how to recognize top end talent but most importantly develop them… unlike others. Will be a top 6 team. Added more than a few offensive juggernauts.
SYB likes him, he is coaching there as well (different age)
