Hesitant to comment because I don't know the details. I was at Canlan York Saturday with my 2013 and heard that a mom walked on the ice going at it with the refs Friday night. No word on what team it was, but some parents had heard about it and refs were talking about it.

Rattlers have some hillbilly parents. I was embarrassed being this the same rink with them. There was some drama at that game as the players were getting rattled up a little. Looks to be a repeat from last year. Team seems divided already. defense seemed very weak and forwards cant generate any action.
Wolverines did look to be stronger. Panthers have a long season ahead.

The mom on the ice was from Wolverines.

And what is it..."Rattlers look terrible" or "Rattlers have AAA players." LOL look to me Rattlers did better than Wolverines for whatever that's worth but this all means nothing.

They didn't play the same teams so can't really judge. Scores also don't always reflect the teams from one game to another. Rattlers had two easy games and two really hard games so that somewhat evens out I guess. Wolverines only had one loss in regulation over 6 games which seems like a far different situation than last season. They also played a few strong teams.

Both teams did well. Why is everyone freaking out? Why don't you worry about your own team and stfu.

Hey whatever makes you feel good but this is what happened, and why the Wolverines played a 6th game...Canlan spring tournaments are odd.

- Rattlers finished round robin play 3rd place.
- Wolverines finished round robin in 8th place
- Semi final was 1st vs 4th and 2nd vs 3rd (Rattlers were 3rd, lost to the eventually champions 2-0)
- Canlan does a Consolation Semi Final as well...5th vs 8th and 6th vs 7th. Essentially to "win" 5th place. Wolverines were 8th and won their consolation 5th vs 8th semi final
- That gave the Wolverines a 6th game which was for 5th place in the tournament where they lost in a shootout.
- Sidenote, Rattlers played the tournament champions (Orillia Ice Dogs, who went 6-0) twice in the tournament. Losing 3-2 and 2-0.
