Begged? Not so sure about begging comment! Pretty sure almost every single player on that team have homes with AAA teams for next season. "New amazing coach with the glowing resume" just lost to a AA this past weekend. Very evident that had very little success in recruiting the players that he actually wanted. It's public knowledge there was an ask of returning parents for help with recruiting and ended up taking a handful of players from the last ranked team in the entire province.

Any truth to the rumor of a recording from a parent meeting circulating?
Team was picked long before tryouts. Nobody asked any parents for help.
Would love to hear that recording.
Apparently recorded during an introduction to parent meeting mid-season.

yeah, sure bud! long before tryouts... Not so sure that was the case. Heard he was calling and "begging" some of the families from this past season to consider coming back after they had already committed to other teams because he thought he would have a line-up of players wanting to play for him, which was clearly not the case. didn't play his cards well.

After going 1 and 2 last year with COWs 1 being an OT win 3 and 0 would be a huge turnaround.

He is hell of a lot better than what they have had. They will be the most improved team this season come January.
He certainly had a lot of success with recruiting.
How many of the Whitby residents playing in the G or on APR did he manage to recruit for next season? And how many did he manage to recruit from Okanagan?

Most improved? That will be the MW or COW. They both did real well with the recruiting!
This sounds like it’s coming from a former WW parent. COW took WW D7, OG F10 and other lower end players. MW took WW leading scorer so that makes sense but not COW.

COW will go 3 & 0 vs. WW next season. Not even close! COW recruited several major upgrades, unlike WW with several downgrades and lateral moves so that the new coach would look like he did something. The organization decision makers are not impressed thus far and have openly expressed their concern.
Fake news.

What is fake about the commentary above? Everything the poster stated above is public knowledge.
COW did in fact recruit several quality players
WW did in fact recruit players from Okanagan (last ranked team in all of the province) and several other players that were cut from bottom 4 teams from ETA and one G player from MM.
open discussions have been had (prior to losing to a AA team this past weekend) about the concern regarding the team for next season, specifically pertaining to the SS.
so again, What is fake about the commentary above?
Which quality players are you referring to?
