Never heard of own hockey?
They can’t even win CCT tournaments
I hope they do get a team. PH and BD only get the best players trying out because they have a Brick charter. They aren’t developing those kids. They bring talented kids, gouge every rich parent wearing goggles for two years and then lose in the playoffs at the Brick. If they can’t lose their charter then they rinse and repeat with no accountability…
They can’t lose their teams and a third one can’t be added in Ontario. No point arguing it.
If PH and BD keep the charter as is, they need to have OHF review all financials to make sure they are not leveraging this duopoly position around the Brick for Profit. Everything related to the Brick should be Not for Profit.
Check this guy out lol.... thinks spring hockey is supposed to be not for profit hahahaha.... you must be new. There's no OHF, no audits, just shut up and pay... or don't if your kid is good enough.
Yes I am new, however, right! Why are we tolerating 'profit' to be sourced against a duopoly position for an International Minor Hockey Tournament? This does not make sense. We all have a collective responsibility to get costs out of kids sports. When we see a person/team/organization leverage a position like this for profit, fix it. I get it, this goes way beyond the Brick but needs to happen in all facets of hockey. Personally, I will be asking for an audit/budget upon application. Costs need to be fair across team and Not for Profit.
