Okay, taken what you saw last year and know the roster change this year which team would be best with hitting in U14?

SYB & TRT would be top team no question

LF & MI distant 3rd and 4th

The rest is too far behind (this yr and next)
No one knows what teams will be good with hitting because there are going to be a ton of parents who rightly decide that if my kid isn't playing AAA they should drop to A, no reason for head injuries and hitting. There will be a ton of movement in U14, with a lot of kids going to A and the reason is because of head injuries.
This is why I said this "taken what you saw last year and know the roster change this year which team would be best with hitting in U14?"
Clearly your kid is having issues skating with the umbilical cord attached and all that bubble wrap.
Holy smokes .. people are so occupied in their daily lives to be talking about the 2025/2026 GTHL AA East season. Lol

Only 5 months away from puck drop in the 2024/2025 season lol

Thanks mom. go away and post on your IG how great your little jr is at everything else in life. I can't wait till the causals get weeded out and trickle to BB/Select.

A-AA-AAA are hard levels and if you aren't thinking/planning ahead, you might as well give up now and make friends with the HL coach.

If you follow the thread there was talks about building a team for 2 years out. You don't have to participate however you did. I guess this occupies your time as well.

It will be crazy to see what happens next year and if the current east champ will remain.
NT are their worst enemies. A lot of parents on that team can't let the process happen and needs immediate success.
NT is model of complacency. Relying on star players of U10/U11. Like a lot of teams, they are set up with a "its a family" model which means they won't release/cut kids who actually don't belong on the team. This is common across all levels.

I honestly don't think the objective of every rep team is to win at all costs. its a balance of keeping kids/parents happy and the good vibes/money flowing into the org and paid coaches' pockets.

NYK & SIR will surprise. NYK proactive to turnover roster and SIR went thru a forced change. both will come out fine and be strong mid.

if coaches were smart, they should look into the kids who can/already do hit (cleanly) to plan out their U14+ rosters. small dangle monsters or soft mental kids will all move to A.

Raider coach coaches 2009 AAA not 2012

I understand it’s not AAA hockey but if winning is not a priority at the AA level maybe it’s time for select or A
