Summer hockey is fun individual hockey

Winter is all that matters . The real ones know

Team Ontario is a fake. If the they were a diamond they’d be a Cubic Zirconia
Team Ontario is a joke. Winter is what matters. Nobody cares about these useless spring tournaments. Development should be everyone’s number 1 priority.
here's the joke:
the guys getting paid to play hockey get off the ice around this time and don't get back on until August...they try to get stronger and faster...the people who have never been there before play spring hockey and keep the gravy train going

Agree follow the real athletes
Off season is about getting stronger and faster

Don’t kid yourself the pros are still on the ice on a regular basis along with working out. They just don’t play spring tournies. 😝

Pros! Ha. That’s funny. There are no pros at this age just kids. Most of which will end up playing beer league. Pros! What a choooch.

Hey Chooch
If they’re not pros then why pull them off the ice. Let them play through! Like the pros use to do when they were this age. You’re such a chooch. Even the top U16s are playing in leagues.

Yah say it to his face. He’s the one that looks like a dick. Such a douche

How many Team Ontario parents are second guessing life choices right now?

I think most would agree they are both mediocre AA teams

Questions I wonder about. How important is it to be skating during the summer? Twice a week? more or less?
Being that my kid is average, I've encouraged him to do other sports which he is excelling at. Does this help or hinder his development?
Time away from the rink is important, family vacas etc. Could this this be a downfall to his confidence or development?

Also, team budgets. I would have to assume they are about the same across the G. 8-9k to 13-15k? That seems like the average, anyone else have thoughts on that?
Again being that my son is average, what do the top end players parents look for in a team/coach/coaching plan.

Not looking for hate here, just hoping for a semi intelligent conversation from some of the parents of players who are at the top end of the league.

Lets steer the this website back to proper information sharing and cut the rest of the BS. Thanks
How about ask what the they want to do?
When they crave for ice book them some sessions. Training off ice and other sports seems to be the consensus.
I’m more interested in what 2010 teams are charging 13-15k

Why do you care so much about teams you have no involvement with.
You don’t know it yet but you’re kid has become a 8/9 forward with the new pick ups this season. I’d be way more concerned about that.
