Trained by the best … what does this tell you… you gotta play with brains and despite the kids from the G doing 50 hours a week .. it didn’t help.

There are literally no good trainers outside of the GTA sorry bud. There’s a reason most good OMHA players leave the farm to get proper coaching and development.
FYI - lots of great development in the OMHA. If you want to overpay for a skating coach and ice time then the GTHL is perfect. We pay $25-50 for a former NHL player coaching 5-10 AAA kids for an hour. There are tons of great development coaches in our area. Even with some of the top kids taking free rides in the G, still more OMHA kids drafted.
How is the Ottawa area so far behind the rest of the province? Large population with very few results.

The OMHA has won 3 OHL Cups as provincial U16 champions in the past 24 years. One of those 3 was won this year, ending a 7 year drought.Where has that great development been? 😂😂😂

Go through the provincial rankings U10 - U15 and ZERO OMHA or alliance teams finished the season ranked #1. Zero.

It’s not even a debate. Makes me laugh whenever ignorant losers like you try to prop up the OMHA or even worse the Alliance when those teams routinely get destroyed by the G. You travel to Toronto yourself to play because you wish you were here but your kid ain’t good enough.
The farmers from omha and alliance call it a vacation while playing in canlan Etobicoke
If you’re not in the G you’re irrelevant. No one cares about OMHA, scouts don’t even watch it.

VK champs

You guys are watching these kids way too hard. Get a life.
Kids who got more ice at a younger age than anyone else so they got off to a faster start. Now players have caught up and in HG case especially, passed him by.
Why does that bother you? Go put your child on the ice more, maybe then they’d make one of the teams. Why are you hating on children? Who cares if others are catching up? Who hurt you as a child to the point you now need trash and point out on a public forum that 9/10 year old boys were good at hockey but aren’t anymore? Help me understand your logic because I’m missing something here.
Yes I hear this a lot...so kids who didnt get much ice time suddenly become good because why? I think kids just develop differently.
Because the kids who got more ice early weren’t more talented, just had more ice. When the ice time balances out they fall behind
If the parents were crazy enough to get more ice young will the ice time ever balance?
Don't criticize parents who had the motivation and energy to get their kids involved in something that took some effort when they were young. There are many more lazy parents out there who do next to nothing with their kids.

Maybe they didn't want the kids sitting around the house on an iPad

OMHA has more players drafted. End of discussion
