All of these coaches and people behind them insisted that their teams were expected to be competitive, development will be great etc. We later decided to stay in 2016 age group and move with them mainly because I had no information about these coaches.

Are there any criteria to understand that the coach is talking bs and in reality he is a no name and his tin is garbage? And on the other hand how to understand that the coach is good and it's the right place?

Honestly, out of these coaches, probably only the guy from MM looked repulsive. Shifty eyes, a bit lacking self confidence, was running back and forth to see if everyone payed. Nothing special but you feel that he is just not the guy you want to hang out with. Don't want to write about telephone conversation with him afterward, but he sounded like a weird salesman. Though parents said that he was a nice person.
As for other teams, their coaches looked ok, nothing suspicious, especially Sens coach always smiling, took notes during skate, had accommodating manners, we barely agreed to join his team.

Now I read that all of them run poor team, that will lose a lot and won't develop the kids.

What would you suggest to look at when attending the skates? Someone said that it's bad that they had pylon exercises and scrimmage. What good coaches would do?
Nothing wrong with pylons in a drill. Want to see them working on transitions, edges and puck control. Scrimmage is for tryouts.
Sure thing coach.

Worse than TWR
No they don’t stop spreading fake news. But they weren’t able to keep the two 15’s playing 14 last year and that sunk them bad. Both Markham teams really made a lot of enemies in the way they did business and that’s why they keep getting killed on this site.
Markham has no talent. They have a difficult time attracting talent as well. MM is still probably better than the MW. Only good teams in OmHA Will probably be WW, QRD, BJC and possibly YSE. In OMHA zones the talent was all in KSL. The G is different due to the NYHL
Exactly the best KSL team beat the best NYHL team by one goal. The NYHL teams were only playing half ice at that time too. NYR only got better this year by adding the three playing a yr up. Should be fun to watch things play out between the top 5.

Who cares who’s in the top, mid and bottom. There will only be one champion. Since when does being mid or bottom matter?! Are they handing out trophies to the mid and bottom teams?

Let me remind you that they’re 9 and they’re a few years away from quitting hockey all together
Don’t be jealous. 2016 YSE book it you booker.

Why they made so many enemies along the way, what's wrong with their way of doing business?

I don't know the details, but personally I would've avoided a team and organization that so many people hate, even if it's an anonymous forum. Maybe it's baseless, maybe there's a reason, but kids are not guinea pigs to experiment.
