the opinion on that team is that goalie is good no doubt but struggles when too busy because of conditioning and close games it’s a coin toss. couple kids are not elite but made it because of the coach. and the coaches kid is bottom of the pack, not even close to elite. but he tells the parents on the team he loves his decision making but can’t see the reality. it’s too bad. reminder to all parents non parent coaches are the way to go even in spring
Some of our best coaches have been parents. It’s the ones who are involved with hockey schools you have to worry about. Organizations should know better than to allow these types of people to coach - it’s tied selling and should be banned from youth sports across the board.
