it isn't exactly uncommon for kids a year younger to play in brick. happens every year
Anyone notice that the hockey gurus keep getting fatter, year after year?
I swear, every coach who runs these scam tournament teams star to pack on the weight, develop the double chin and are less talented than the kids by the time they are 13 years old.
It is confusing as it is an active job, they they are under 35 years old and would be classified as obese... but they can yell at my kid about hard work, when they show up hung over while charging $200 + per hour and are out of breath tying their skates. The quality in coaching is a joke in the GTHL, there are only a handful of top end coaches that I have seen, the majority are grifting car salesman.
All the parents in here thinking the brick is the end all be all is wild. I’m fresh out of playing and now coaching, played AAA all the way through my minor hockey career, played 4 years in Junior and then another 3 in the NCAA. I can guarantee every single person in here once you’re out of the minor hockey world none of these coaches at the Junior level or beyond care if your kid played in the Brick. Despite playing in the brick for the bulldogs it did absolutely nothing to advance my hockey career.
