From what I saw last season, Leaside D-man was the only kid that belonged in AA.
Maybe he's the only player who would be an average or above average AA player. But NYK, TRT, and MI all are losing players to AA.
Lost of players in AA that don't belong there. EE should drop to A.
That said U14 is where it starts to matter most, as kids will have had growth spurts and hitting starts.
In the younger age groups, skating skills and hockey IQ. Very few AA caliber skaters in A U12 last season.
That's your perception, but in reality multiple AA coaches signed A players to their teams and I trust their judgement more than parents, including my own.
There's at least 2 AA teams that should drop down to A.
Lots of A players in AA.
Here's my prediction for next season.
1. LF
2. Anyone's guess
I assume you mean EE and FH in AA. They both made lots of changes, so who knows what will happen in U13. In the GTHL, several AA players are moving to A and vice versa. Lots of overlap with stronger A players and weaker AA players.
Why are you so confident that LF will be far and above every other team? There were 4 teams virtually tied for 1st place last season. LF's greatest strength was its defence. Didn't they lose their top D? Not a highly offensive team. What do they bring that's clearly better than TRT, NYK, ARD, or DMM? How are LF's off-season moves better than everyone else's? I also hear NT is adding at least 5 AA players.
