They've joined the GTHL but are only playing exhibition games and tournaments for the next three seasons.

Any insight on this team? Are they any good?
Just another cash grab. GTA hockey needs consolidation instead of dilution.

My NT intel: 3 tops scorers left for DD. Good defenceman left for ARD. They cut several kids and picked up 5 AA players… I believe from NT and EE. Possibly from FH too.
New coach for NT too right?
Not sure, but the NT organization forbids paid professional coaches.

6 AA players actually.
And a player from MI A, formerly of FH A in U10.

ARD definitely has a few dirty players. One of them used their stick as a javelin and threw it at the legs of a player on a break out. Dangerous play but coach and parent group thought that was OK. Gross.

Anyway I think top 3 will repeat. From what I've seen in tryouts LF looks really strong with AA upgrades.
LF has been a great team since U11 and I expect nothing less for U13. I think they lost a player to AA but gained two.

ARD was in 2nd place in U11, ahead of LF and TRT. In U12, they were in first place with 4 games left in the season when the goalie's wrist broke. They ended the season in fourth place, 1 point behind NYK (East playoff champs) and just 4 points out of first. To say they were never top 3 is absurd. It sounds like you're the only person who saw the "javelin"... or more likely that you're fabricating.
The GAA is a clear indicator they are not top 3. Being ahead in standings means nothing until all regular season games have been played. ARD goalie is not in top 3 either.
GAA in games he started was under 1.5 and he generally played against the stronger teams. As an example, he never lost to LF. You must not understand the definition of “never” because I demonstrated that ARD finished U11 in 2nd place.
OK looks like we found the goalie dad. Whatever happened in U11 is not relevant as teams change and U12 was last season. Again there are no stats to support ARD being a top 3 team. They relied on 2-3 goal scorers and it's going to.be much harder for them in U13. I have them in 5th place max for next season.

1. LF
2.NYK
3.TRT
4.NT
5.ARD/DMM/SIR/TA
That's a weird prediction. As much as ARD has come under fire in these most recent posts, there is no current reasoning to "perhaps" have them battling for 5th ca. Dmm, sir, and ta. SIR and TA will finish near the bottom. 4th for NT slightly high but maybe they have something up their sleeve? Let's say that they do, then you can go ahead and lump DMM/ARD/NT together with the top 3 because really it's anyone's guess. LF lacked scoring last year. Did they address that? NYK have made a few questionable acquisitions. They picked up a TA defenseman who never saw the Ice in the 3rd period playing for theast place team. TRT lost some, gained some. Is it enough to stay in the top 3? I see nothing to suggest NT will finish 4. Maybe someone can enlighten us? They definitely were the story of last seasons 1st Rd robin by advancing but proceeded to get dummied by NYK, TRT and LF. DMM's only AA level talent fled so don't think of them as a AA team who dropped down. The current team looks nothing like the train wreck that was the AA team. It's in fact worse. That said, there are some bad teams in this loop so they could hold their own.

LF we're a defense focused team. They did not have much scoring punch.
Fair point.
