VR (best in class, they can be awarded the trophy now)
Eagles (slightly improved, always solid, always significant turnover, upgraded goaltending but beatable)

NS (Always solid, well coached, coaching makes a difference even with a declining talent pool)
GTC (Tough team, lost some talented players, below average coaching)
FT (Solid, no better/no worse than last year but will be hard to make a jump in standings based on the skill of bottom third of team)
HVS (Another rebuild but dark horse pick for most improved)
MT (Declining prospects but may have picked up a difference maker which will help)
MJ (Middle of the pack as always, AAA price with no bang for the financial buck)
TW (Best coach, parents and team in the league, just ask them they'll tell you)
MR (Notwithstanding the BS posted, great coach, development will be excellent but not many standouts, could move up if things click)
VP (Primarily A players)
MWL (Coach has impressed, primarily A players, good parent group)
ST (Best rink and uniforms (need to look good to play good) but picked up some players that should be playing select)

MJ looked outstanding on the weekend. Looked like the 4 AAA kids were really there.

NorthStars will not be good at all this season. I've watched all the games and they really looked bad out there. The worst I've seen. All the top teams have played in elite division and placed in the standings somewhat. This team is now officially done and can no longer compete in the game. Over the last 2 seasons they lost their top goal scorers. Right now they are sitting with the worst defense in the loop. The person who posted the first ranking got this right. I would just move the Jets down one below the Toros. Although they did well in the weekend AA tournament, they were also playing against some weaker teams. Below is my thoughts:

I wouldn’t say the worst but he’s not far off . 33 is their only good d left and the couple they picked up aren’t the greatest .honourable mention -87 is good but he’s not even a d

There are at least 3 teams whose D is made up of A players and AA players who should never have played a single game of AA hockey in their lives. Give me a break. This expert analysis is based off the team going 1-2-2 in the AAA division. Ridiculous.
