The team (you probably coached or own) played the same kids 70+ percent of the time, game after game. 73,88,11,17.Great players, yes. But any kid and family in any league below a U10 U11 AA or AAA level should not be paying thousands of dollars to have their kids short shifted and sitting on a bench for a meaningless record. Hats off to the Ironmen, beating teams with over agers playing the same handful of players over and over. Any coach/organization at this age should be about 1 thing. Developing hockey players and promoting fun.
