Borders are open officially!
Ready...and...go!
Elgin recruited heavily, coaches have billets. Friends brought in friends from down the highway, teams largely ended up the same as they were last year. LJK, aside from MM most teams got worse. The question remains how did open borders change alliance, will coaching selection have a bigger impact in the coming years, will Elgin continue to put farmers in coaching positions? Will LJK proceed with a loser mentality?
U16 LJK (most important age) improved big time even though they were already good. EMC lost everyone at U16.
It’s the only age group that matters, especially in Alliance hockey. Find yourself a coach who will advocate for you and be a good person.
