but he couldn't make a save in the final.
at least he got there. who was in net for gta?
BF in net for GTA.
Nevermind the tendies…what happened to the GTA Superstar firepower and “top D”? Evidence that playing the game the right way matters.

Tight game loses are rarely on the guy standing in the blue ice.
The gta coach told me he was told who his ‘superstars’ were. He rode 3 of them for entire PP’s. He told me he ‘couldn’t believe these kids are touted as top kids, they don’t play the game properly’. OHL coach got schooled by opposing coach for believing that crap.

We've already done three spring tournaments, including Nashville, and this one is by far the best value. The cost is $500 USD, and the kids receive a free CCM stick, training gear, hoodie, plus Howies tape and accessories—all included. Exceptional coaches, top-tier facilities, and scouts will be in attendance. If you didn’t get an invite, don’t be sour—just stay curious about what makes this event stand out.
The AAA tryout window has been closed for 33 days, and you've already done three spring tournaments? Congratulations, you're an idiot, satisfying your own F.O.M.O at the expense of your son's long term health and development. No meaningful rest after a long season is not making him better, nor is U15 spring hockey getting him one inch closer to being drafted in U16. If he's already good enough to be one of the 300 kids drafted after U16, see previous comment regarding your own F.O.M.O.
It's pretty obvious with some kids now that I've watched over the 2 months that they're playing too much hockey. These are kids especially on the top 3 teams that I know don't play other sports. It's too much hockey and those parents are simply lost. Sadly will continue to regress into U16.
It’s only May! My kid will be playing his last of 5 tournaments this weekend. He had an early playoff exit and he wanted to get some more games in. Now he will have June and July to play golf, workout and be a kid. Back on the ice in August.
Worry about your own kid.
the ones who comment about too much hockey in spring are the ones who don't get asked to play. dont worry, your time will come when everything will miraculously seem to click in U16 and todays benders will become highly ranked prospects. happens every year lmao
Nah, it's just folks who are vastly more experienced in how this sport really works. Including the long-term toll it can take on physical development.

Not wrong. GTA Superstars thought they would just roll this team and got outworked.

So playing preseason to ohf plus some spring is too much? Ok.
Sounds like the solution is to go to a non playoff team and no spring to reduce the load.
Yes, a spring tournament every 10 days immediately after tryouts is too much.

Majors dead last this year. Double AA kids swapped out for single A kids. What’s a parent coach of a AA team doing trying to teach at this age and level.
New rankings from the insider:

VK
TM

JrC
NYR
TYN
TT

SENS
DMF

TRW
MM
REBS
REPS
DMF will not make playoffs
I got Majors last. Reps will challenge for the basement!
