But 40K for their kids to get put ahead of yours makes no sense
I’m not for or against parent coaches but a parent coach taking any money whatsoever is absolutely ridiculous and shady. Having their underserving kid on the roster is enough of a perk for the time they donate as a coach. In most cases, the coaches kid doesn’t belong. Lets call a spade a spade

MR coach takes cost that equal his sons portion of the budget -$7k
TYN coach takes 40k for a parent bench - $8500
TM coach doesn’t take anything - budget is $6000
Plus another 40k from 2014 bench for TYN bros
Sounds like these guys are taking everyone for a ride.
Why are all the other parent coaches, not full parent staff taking less money ?
Does anyone question this, or is everyone naive ?
Does the organization know about this ?
I heard the coaches make 100k and the budget is 14k. One of the coaches even drives a Porsche.

All so you can finish 4th? Come on. My team finished 12th but the coach cared equally and playing time was equal down to the second according to my stop watch. It was an awesome experience. Non parent coaches are 100% the way to go. If the Marlies ever get rid of their hc and get Chico or some other experienced non-parent then I'm finna go there for sure.
Mario Bros vs TYN bros
Mario bros are honest plumbers
TYN bros are hockey plumbers

If your kid is playing AAA and they are 2011 they shouldn’t be on a parent coaches team. Period. Regardless of how great a coach is there will always be a bias. I am curious to see how the parent coach teams do this year. Parent coaches are fine until atom.
