Can’t OMHA players in the Gthl anyways at u14? Isn’t that what is defined based on LOR ? If that is true why would teams pay for school when the kid can go school anywhere

Reading all the nonsense about free rides for private schools. Help me understand why a team is gonna pay 25k for a 13 year olds school. This ain’t pro sports.

NEWS FLASH!!! In the event you didn’t already know this!

WW AAA program are always one of the best organizations in the OMHA and compete with top GTHL teams. BUT, once minor pewee U-12/U-13 rolls around. They always lose their top players to the top GTHL teams. WW brass cannot compete with free rides and free private school that the top GTHL teams offer. Starts to happen every single year at the Minor and Major Peewee ages (U-12/U-13).

That being said, enjoy these first two years, collect as many medals and trophies as possible, because once the top players depart, your team will be a mid pack team. Makes absolutely zero difference that your coach played in the show.

Don’t believe the context of this post, ask any WW AAA parent at the older ages from any AAA WW team over the past 10+ years and they will agree with the context above. After all, free ride and free private school is what it is.
Boyz listen up. It’s not all about free rides and private schools. Do you take a bit of juice here and there? Can bench 350? Don’t think so. Do you got a stylish goatee? Don’t think so. What about making moves with dance beats? Don’t think so. Well then think again.
Nobody is paying for a full private school for a AAA kid . What a false statement. Yes, kids make their way to the G eventually. Take for example Cole Perfetti of WW but nobody is paying for private schools. Kids will get poached and maybe if the kid is very good no AAA fees but that’s it.
lol.. buddy must be living under a rock!
U-14 when hitting starts, is generally when the top teams in the G start throwing frees rides and private school tuition at families. This is old news!
The GTHL is old news bud. Just like the NYHL is dead, GTHL is next. Klevr is helping top OMHA kids because they get to play with high calibre kids against top competition. GTHL will try to buy their way to the top but once again, top OHL pick = OMHA and most drafted players coming from OMHA again… ride. Is turning city boys!!!!

Listen Boyz. Now you talking. Elite isn’t always what is on paper. So then does thinking it’s the shit and you own GTA hockey make it the truth? If playing hockey in a mall and paying 15K to do surrounded by Aritzia banners is your thing go for it. But knowing well it’s far from the truth and Brick will not make anyone a great player and most don’t turn out to go and make a pro career out of it. But might get pulled into this way of thinking. Just some food for thought.

True for U10. Private school rides are very much a thing starting in U12 though.
We will all find out what for real and isn’t soon enough. Just wait.

Long road ahead. Judging by our page rate we will be at about 4500 by then
Are we shortening the bench at this age group,
Only rolling 2 lines most games, or na?
