Only thing I can find for a Detroit Tourney is this https://www.instagram.com/p/C6JG9vzgWrD which is on 2011 little ceasars Instagram
Terriers no. 2 US
Ceasears no. 3 US
LA no. 5 US
Mission no. 8 US
Oakland no. 9 US
CBJ no. 11 US

Actually looks like good hockey.
Very good line up of teams.
Who were the semi games?
Who won it all?
Rebs dad here. Just a showcase, everyone played six.

LA Kings went 5-1, with a loss to Caesars and an OT win over Blue Jackets and win over Mission. Kings looked like best team to us.

Caesars went 5-1, with a loss to Mission and an OT win over Blue Jackets. We watched a lot of that one after our last one and it was a great game.

Mission went 3-2-1, with a win over Little Caesars and a loss to LA and Terriers. They're huge

Blue Jackets were 2-2-2, with a win over Terriers and OT losses to Caesars and Kings. Surprised how good they were.

Terriers were 3-3, wins over Mission and Oakland, losses to Caesars LA and Blue Jackets. Big kid on their team is superb.

Oakland did well too, beat Blue Jackets and nearly beat Mission. Didn't look "worse" and was great game w Rebels in OT.

Rebels lost 4 of 5 but competitive. Beat Oakland in OT, tight games with others. Only Jackets and Caesars won by more than 2 I think against them.

Other team was some all star east coast thrown together team that hit everyone. They were good too. Had some TYN kids and Mid Fairfield goalie.

All of them but the east coasters had their "new" teams so was strong hockey. Lots of good physical games. Rebels hung in there. Not gonna be VK or Jrc but good
Heard the Rebs scored 6 goals all tournament. Hard to win with no scoring.
Highest points on the team was GL who came from JRC
Scored a few more then that. GL played well
18 goals against
8 goals for

But more vicious than hockey hits!

If your coaching is telling you he’s running a hitting clinic or hitting practice….please do your son a favour, run, run and run.
I heard a bunch of clown parents talking about their kids going to hitting clinics. Honestly, I have never seen a more illiterate sport parent group than the 2011’s. It is like they were all HL players in their time! You could make a killing giving actual consulting in this group, but then again they all think they have it figured out….. good luck clowns!
Are you saying it’s stupid to send your kid to a hitting camp in order to prepare them for hitting?
Buddy there are some small basic things you need to know about hitting and taking a hit. The technical part can be taught in 30 minutes.

However, reading the play and the IQ required to really hit some one or miss being hit cannot be taught in a clinic, it is very in game specific. Your kid will need to learn the IQ of hitting and if he has low hockey IQ don’t hold your breath.
My guy is only 110 pounds right now, but do to timing and readying the play he is laying kids out twice his size!
No he’s not laying anybody out. You have no clue what you’re talking about either. Keep your ignorant mouth shut and let the experienced hockey people talk.
Scammer alert

You sound really smart.
It is not about being smart , it is about experience at a high level, which it sounds like you have zero, kinda like your wife’s Diet Coke (not working)!
you sound like a complete idiot. Hitting clinics are more about learning to take a hit then delivering a hit. The kids learn to avoid putting themselves in vulnerable positions to avoid serious injury. I played high level hockey growing up and clearly remember it was mandatory to go to a hitting clinic with our team. And this was 30 years ago.
You should seriously consider a refund , as you write like someone with a multitude of previous concussions!
If that poster had concussion problems, the post makes sense to me.
