Everyone else is on the team because of merit. The guys who pick the teams have done this for years and know what a good player is. they do not have rose coloured glasses and over value the talent like the parents of the cry baby parents do.
would this still be the same mindset if the guy with average player didnt have $$?
probably not; then people would say hes an OK/Avrg AAA player. but when you have a wealthy person with an average player then right away it's he has $$$ thats why hes playing.
That's fair...

Don’t agree with this. Happens all the time. It shouldn’t but it does.
Actually it never happens. Ever. Any kid that’s a real stud and no brainer will be on the team. You can’t name one top 10 player in the league not on the team.
Yep. On our team there was one player who didn't make it that i was surprised by because he scores a good amount of goals...i pointed this out to others and they gave reasons why he didn't make it mostly that others were better. The Brick teams have specific needs...they treat the kids like products. Not all the products need to do the same things. And just because someone gets a lot of goals with average teams doesn't mean they will when they play the more competitive teams.

This is wrong. It is how it should be, however good kids get passed over because of money and relationships all the time.
There are no studs left off the brick teams. Some marginal kids might make it due to $$$ but nobody who is clearly a top player ever gets passed over. Facts.
That's what I've seen as well. The teams are made up of the best kids in that area and maybe a few beyond. I've seen financially loaded people cut. You can't buy a spot on most brick teams unless it's a bad team to begin with. No one is going to cut a good player for an average player with money. Most want to win this.

Anyone saying these teams are about money and relationships is bitter. Are there good players that don't make the team? Of course, there are only so many spots. And not everyone gets equal ice time either.
That's true. whatever Brick or AAA, nobody take an average player with sponsor instead of an elite player, everybody wants WIN.

OMHA is another case, relationship is first. money even not working.

if 2 average players, yes, money is working. if you thinking your kid was cut because another sponsor player, just double check is your kid enough good?
