I have a friend that was on the same team you are talking about. From what I understand and was told, the parent wasn't happy because the original Head Coach (AR) bailed from the team because his son made an "AA" team. The Huskies team was AR backup. Also, I was told AR stayed on as the team manager (which is a little fishy) and what was promised was only half delivered after the organization found out what was happening. Plus, AR didn't give up the manager position even when the organization told the young coaching staff to get another parent to be the manager. Basically, the team (parents) was sold a bill of goods, got stuck with an inexperienced young coaching staff, and won only 1 game. I definitely can see your point.
Additionally, I was told there was a small group of toxic parents on the team that tried to control the team and when the organization brought in a new coaching staff that small parents group went to see his team at a playoff game and start to ridicule his team. Because of that the new coaching staff decided not to take over since they didn't want to deal with those parents.
Finally, those vomit-coloured home jerseys are pissed ugly too.
