How insane is Peterborough. They Could have had the entire U16 bench staff that had 13 kids drafted, OMHA champs and almost won the OHL cup. Decided to stick with a dad coach, who's son had 3 pts last year. This will go down as the biggest mistake in Minor Hockey. Ego just cost them 5 players! They will terrible.

Watch what you wish for. May be some surprising stories coming from the dressing room of that u16 team as the years move on. Yes 13 players drafted but only 4 they cared about. The others were just fillers. Winning kept things calm on that team. Had they lost a few more games, there’s no way the stories would have been buried by the HC.
Pretty big accusations on a program that didn’t have any issues whatsoever. If you had proof, you would have heard about it or you would have described it, go on then…. Winning doesn’t bury problems or issues either. That U16 program rolled lines and gave all kids an opportunity. My son was always around that team and they treated him like their own. Don’t trash other coaches to make yourself look better WC! Focus on keeping kids in Peterborough.

They didn’t role lines…..OMG. You are nuts. That HC focused on making sure 1.5 D and 3.5 F were showcased at all times. Yes, that’s right, 1D and 1F as a .5. There were two kids that would fall out of favourites with the HC because they refused to do what was asked but would always get their shot to shine after a game or two because promises were made. Meanwhile you had a bunch of kids who would rot on the bench and still got drafted……what does that say about those kids!
9 goal leads pumping the PP1 out there for more points. Hell, even the Goalies had no idea what was going on. Am I, aren’t I starting. It was about the anointed few because those were the kids the coach needed to have shine to try and prove his worth.
