A lot of the best kids across Canada/USA played on one team or another. There were some duds too but overall it was the best competition of the summer and we were at Nashville/HHOF/Shootout too. Check the rosters.
Sorry your kid didn’t get invited but I bet his dedication to lacrosse or cricket this summer will have him buzzing in September! BOOK IT!
This guys kid will be in Single A in a few years. He’ll be talking to parents and telling them about AAA politics and how he needs a more relaxed environment. Reality is your kid is going to end up hating the sport and by they way you respond on this forum, end up hating YOU! Don’t be a clown! It is proven that two sport athletes perform better. If that’s not you so be it! Play puck 12 months out of the year. Don’t criticize others!!

His response will be ….

Your kid couldn’t make these teams ha ha ha.
So that means your kid is shitty in two sports congratulations.

Name a good gthl player who doesn’t play summer hockey. Still waiting for you to answer that one.

I guess your response will be ‘define good’

Nobody said don’t play other sports but you did say that summer hockey is a waste of time. Go back a few comments if you forgot what you wrote. Now you’re back tracking lmao

This is next level embarrassing.

Next time someone asks you to play in a spring tournament, try this: “no thank you”.

It works every time.

Go enjoy the sunshine.
while ur kid is enjoying the sun, a handful of kids are working their behinds off building core memories and developing reputations that will carry into winter. if u don’t think that makes them better you don’t know sports. go play for hellfish or hockey equality and i would agree your right, doing anything else is better. but these top tournaments help great players separate themselves
Clearly you’ve chosen to ignore all the research about one-sport athletes?

These “top tournaments” are glorified beauty pageants for insecure parents to parade their little Prima Donna around North America thinking it’s making them better or getting more exposure. For what? Bragging rights? Weak flex, bro.

Anyone who knows sports will tell you to stop hockey after the 7-month siege and do something else. If you want to make your kids better hockey players, put them in another competitive sport in the spring/summer.

Someone telling you otherwise is just looking for your $$$.

Name one top player in the G who doesn’t play summer hockey GO!
You might have just proved this guy’s point…

The list you’re thinking of is probably full of these exact parents.

It’s ok. Nobody expected you to be able to think of one 😎
