Overall, commitments to D1 and D3 levels will look very low compared to prior years. The reason is this is the last "bonus" year for the covid-college age group. This will greatly impacted the 2003 age group of players. The expectation is that there will be a high demand for 2004 players which is why some leagues are removing age out quotas.

Excellent points!
hmmm.. yeah valid point but doesn’t seem to be affecting the OJ or BCHL

And paid coaches who aren't the owners and who don't moonlight as advisors.
Sure that to, and dedicated skating/skills coaches for a minimum amount of continuous development "in-season." Also heard that as a league, specialized position specific coaches will be working with all teams to provide additional development, from goalies, to forwards and D. Focus on beginning of the season to allow for a switch over to more team specific play, PP and PK focus in the final third. Sounds awesome!!
LOL!
Why have a draft of teams are leaving? Makes no sense and are the players have to right released if this team leave the CCHL?
If a team leaves the CCHL all players, active roster, drafted players, and any protected players on team list become free agents.
Kemptville has played 8 playoff games in a decade lol
Yes, but the previous owner's sons all played and got to a NCAA school.

Actually projected 1sr round NHL draft picks coming from the CC.

Rumor has it that CC players will be paid, and a European division will join.

Each CC rink to get renos for their own sports performance gyms, worh am artificial surface for shooting and goalie training.

You heard it here first folks.

Once playoffs are done, the CCHL will be dismantled. Oh sorry, restructured.

I’m an outsider looking in. Not trying to stir the pot. But what will be left of the league if those four teams leave? Will there be new additions or will they run with an 8 team league? Seams to be a pretty low number for a jr league, no?

Hoping Cornwall, Brockville, Pembroke leave the CCHL. The league will be better without them. Navan can go to IMO.
