This is the great thing about the Brick. It puts kids in their respective place at an early age. There is a Brick kid .. you need to work harder, do more Dryland, shoot more pucks, participate in more skates, listen more closely if you are to ever close the gap to the Brick kid. The reality is that the gap will widen as days past unless you ramp it up 2x versus what you are doing today. Know the Brick kids and now you know what it means to be 'Elite' at something.

Listen if you want to be a brick kid.. sing up
For mass HP program, say for his $100 a shot skates At emery where he crams 10 kids in a pad made for goalie training. Pay for all the “training” of all his spring teams. Minimum 30k each kid invested prior to brick. Then pray he doesn’t Not Allowed you over for someone who just pays for his golf membership. It’s simple! You don’t have to be brick calibre.. fact is he’s not even brick calibre himself. He’s never coached a wining brick team ever…. So like his daddy did for him just pay for you’re kids spot.
You are missing the point .. there is AAA and then there is the 'Brick' level. AAA is a step down and the sooner you face these facts you can play this game for what it is .. recreation.
Here is the real point my friend.

If your kid is not playing AAA up a year and is one of the top guys on a good team he is not elite in his age group. Best players in their own age group at U10-U13 are not best in class, they are second tier players in their own age group.

And when puberty hits the 2nd and 3rd tier gets rearranged really fast.

Enjoy the ride while you can because 99% of these children will be playing in the same beer league as A and AA players in about 10 yrs.
Pal, yes they will be playing beer league but not until they hit their 30’s. Prior to that they will have had OHL experience, DIV 1 College experience, pro looks or maybe even 2-4 years of pro hockey somewhere. What a foundation to become a leader on so many fronts.

JRC didn't get rid of their goalie.

The goalie got rid of JRC.
The player made the decision NOT the team.
Okay, but why? You're on a championship team.
This will surprise some people, but minor hockey is about more than winning championships. I admire people who walk away from “championship” teams, they obviously have their reasons.
He left to try to get on Brick
lol don’t think so. Brick teams are set and has nothing to do with next year. Wonder where the kid is landing. Heard he was good.
WW only has 1 goalie atm

Uncomfortable and sobering words for many to read but this is 100 percent facts. I'd even add that 98% of the kids playing a year up dominating and the best of the best at U16-U18 will also be joining in the beer league eventually.

Who goes where?
Who is losing their top players?
Who is chasing brick and going to Marlies?
JRC losing their top player
WW losing a couple ? Where are they going.
TRW is all OMHA

MHR = TMZ
Are they the top kids from YSE and the other centre going to TRW? Or are they the second tier kids whose parents think they should have had more ice..
TRW are getting half the Ajax/pickering team, and 4 forwards from Northshore.
Sounds like they will be just as bad as this year.
Someone players are in for a complete surprise when they realize what this was all about. $$$$$
This is the first crack in the friendship group. its all about to implode soon
Hard lessons learned here, but this could spell the end the for one might dev group, or so they thought. The back stabbing is crazy and may a new white board is needed.

Maybe he left to get more playing time on a mid pack team ? I dont think they can be a championship team next year. The F and D will not be as strong.
Probably.
I guess the Brick goalie is staying?
