Hockey Canada really needs to clean house and then do something to clean up the corruption in amateur hockey. Great young hockey players are not given a chance because they can't get past the moneymen and coach/management kids.

There's more to the game than "racking up points" in a lesser league.

There are plenty points leaders in the AHL who can't crack an NHL line up...meanwhile their teammates with fewer points are able to make the jump.

There is a revolving door of players moving up and down between divisions every year. Every team needs goal...so IF your kid were as good as you think he is, he would have had his chance.
