That said there are also teams (GB, HV) that are creating CDP teams that don't play house league, just 3 practices a week + CDP game. Others like FS play house league + CDP

I have read that the best thing a kid under 10 is to join CDS/CDP.
So for kids in north of Toronto (R.hill, Markham) where CDS/CDP is not as close, it would be best to just try out for the city's MD(Minor Development) team and if they can't make that, try for a Select team?
