Let hope there is some competition for APR as it’s not good for anyone if they win every game . COW and MW are supposed to be main competition so let’s hope so !
Cow lol
Cow hahahaha too funny. I guess you haven’t heard who they make take , he’s 5 feet maybe 5 and was worst on his team. Thats who they may sign pre try out. I bet people are lining up to go there . And that D from u16 too , it’s a joke if you think they can compete

Guest wrote: Mon Apr 22, 2024 3:15 pm Only an idiot wouldn’t know going into development camp that they may not play OHL next season. If you’re not top two picks… no guarantee at all. But OHL teams don’t ask you where you’re playing… they set you up with a spot in Jr A/ Jr B or U18. Parents who think they have a commitment at U18 better be prepared to scramble as the development camps end and kids get placed in spots they thought were theirs
Yep will happen with every team so you need a backup plan for sure. Can’t wait to watch the boys who thought they were safe with APR get squeezed out. Happened to boys last year that thought they were set to play on that team.
Only top players will be with APR as most teams want the picks to develop with MB
Yes! And most teams have had this discussion with Mike and players. Anyone good already knows they are safe and this information is accurate

Unless you’re Peterborough, flint, Barrie, Kingston or London.

All have U 18 affiliates. Unfortunately for the prospects heading to APR, none of their ohl teams care about them, especially not from 5th round on.
We are above 5th round but I disagree with this as I was told to switch to this team with another late rounder by the OHL team ! So speak for yourself. He is highly respected and will be seen lots if we go here we may have to commute but that’s ok
Ya right APR coaches only care about $$$. Don’t believe what you hear about MB. There are better coaches out there in U18.
If the rumours of players going to certain places are true, APR may be the third best team next season

MB wont have an easy route next year. MW going to nationals and Quasi Oshawa resurgence means a lot more competition for the players.

Thanks for your input Eric

Good to see APR arrogance still exists

Guest wrote: Mon Apr 22, 2024 8:55 am What makes no sense is I know a kid drafted in the 14th round but can't even make a AAA U18 team next year. Does that make any sense? How are they going to develop their career?
How is that possible, I know some in 15th round that have at least 8-10 offers
Maybe they don’t like his character
Great kid, just hard to get offers. Trying to go Div 1 but just hard to get any commitment now.
