AA was also exempt
Zing! lol!
The skate was a mess tonight. Way too many kids. Stand outs were the WW home town kids and a few ( not all ) of the import commitments. I’m Not a WW parent but wanted to see for myself.
This didn’t age well. The WW home town stand outs couldn’t even beat a AA team this weekend 👏
To be fair they only have two AA’s on their jerseys.
Instead of fair, let’s be accurate. They lost to the Bears, which are the AA Vaughan Panthers. Their roster is their winter team, all AA kids plus 2 AAA kids.
So the poster was right then. WW lost to a AA team

Previous AAA players were exempt last night. Either your kid has never played AAA and was there or you are freaking nuts watching 15 year olds tryout for a team that you aren't interested in.

Did they really lose to a AA team??? If this is true the coach should resign

WW made the mistake of letting coach go during Covid that was loved. Next season every good player left and coach was having success in another organization

Every decision by board made to help a friends kid, looks good on them

Shameful organization at the AAA level. No wonder no good players stay in Whitby at the AAA level.

The Brass believed it!

QRD are the same added a goalie
YSE, BC, QRD and APR will be battling all season for top spot.
WW & KJG, will be lucky to win 5 games all season. Despite the all the changes, it will be a very long season again for both teams.
Rumor has it, WW brass who appointed new bench boss are disappointed with the outcome thus far, and are concerned of potential embracement to the organization at SS.
Honestly MH, get off the forums

Someone up top with Loose Lips. The fact of the matter is that the above statement is 100% accurate. There were some big promises made to the organization about rebuilding a top 4 team, bringing back the local kids from the G and APR, as well as building a very competitive team for SS. Disappointment is an understatement.

Guest wrote: Thu May 09, 2024 11:36 am Of course they are. Should have done something 4 years ago to keep player from leaving. Tried to bring in a non-parent a few years ago, and now another with a more flashy coaching resume, but it was too little too late with the top end kids leaving prior to those moves. Lessons should be learned for the younger groups moving forward as it is too late for this age group.

Does WW have a parent on the bench?
assistant coach is a parent.
