The only way it's different now is people can't have conversations with themselves pretending to be different people in a thread. Something I believe happened quite a lot in reality.

From the perspective of not being anonymous anymore, it's really no different. People can't click on your profile and see who you are.

I guarantee most threads were single people commenting on there own bs trying to stir the pot and create havoc for others

No matter who it is there is no legal action that can be taken. Look into it and don’t believe scare tactics stirred up by uneducated plebeians.

A key factor in legal terms is how much a reasonable person puts real value on anything written here. And it could be argued that anyone with half a brain knows most of the content is BS. I wouldn't say no legal action can be taken. I'd say it would be a heck of an uphill battle to win any kind of libel suit based on anything written on this site.
